In the past few weeks, Paul has been pursuing the local NHS about to cuts to community hospitals and Better Care Funds, which have been happening (at the ultimate behest of NHS England) ahead of the submission of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent’s so-called ‘Sustainability & Transformation Plan’ to the Government this week.

Yesterday, the debate on NHS ‘Sustainability and Transformation Plans’ finally went ahead, on a Labour opposition motion, after being postponed last week. Sadly, deliberately rushed-out Government business truncated it to just three hours, as opposed to six.
