Brexit debate - Paul Farrelly rails against 'blank cheque' for EU exit negotiations

Perhaps the most crucial Commons vote in Paul's near 16 years in the House took place yesterday evening. Speaking at 8.06pm the previous night, Paul set out the reasons for his intention to vote against the Government's EU Withdrawal Bill after waiting seven and a half hours in the chamber for his turn. So many MPs, naturally, wanted to speak in these two hasty, all-too-short days of debate - forced on a grudging Government by the UK's Supreme Court - that they were only allowed 6 minutes each on this crucial issue for our nation's future.
